Delivery to Home Addresses

Sorry but we DO NOT deliver to home addresses at this time.

Extended Deliveries Due to Factory Shutdowns & Holidays

In the event of a factory maintenence shutdown or holiday period such as Christmas and Easter, our lead times will be extended from those advertised. 

Sometimes unforeseen manufacturing situations can occur resulting in longer lead times.  Here at 3D Lockers we try our best to keep our customers informed of any delays, but cannot be held liable for any losses or costs incurred by yourselves. Failure to deliver by the due date or time shall not constitute a breach of contract by 3d Lockers.  We shall try to deliver the goods or services by the agreed date, however such dates are estimates only and we will not be held liable for any failure to deliver complete works by such dates.  The goods may also be delivered in advance of any confirmed delivery date. Where we can we will give notice of advance deliveries, but this cannot be guaranteed and therefore shall not constitute a breach of contract by 3d Lockers.

Delivery Charges

Delivery of many items is FREE OF CHARGE to most of UK mainland for all orders over £150 ex. VAT. Delivery of orders totalling less than £150 before VAT incur a £20 delivery/handling surcharge + VAT

There are certain items on our site which will incurr an additional delivery charge to particular areas of the UK.  These delivery areas typically include Scotland, Truro and Belfast.  Please check on the delivery tab which will clearly indicate whether free delivery is available to these areas.


Delivery

Delivery will be made to the address specified in the order.

For orders overseas please contact our sales office direct for a quotation.

Delivery Times: Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm

Deliveries are made on a week commencing basis and delivered anytime during the week in question. Once you have placed your order we will confirm the delivery week commencing date.  You can request a factory/driver pre-call to give 24 hours notice of a delivery.  This pre-call service is aimed at helping our customers with their preparations to accept deliveries.  However, this is for guidance only and we cannot guarantee this service during peak times and therefore cannot be held responsible for any costs or delays in the non provision of this service.

Nominated Day Deliveries:

If you require delivery on a nominated day, this service may be available at an additional cost.  Please contact our sales team for pricing.

Standard Delivery Vehicle

We assume clear access for up to a 40' trailer size - to a ground floor location only.  Please advise our sales team of any delivery access restrictions at time of placement of order.  Standard delivery may not include pedestrian zones which operate time limits on deliveries.  Should our delivery vehicles be turned away due to the above, then additional re-stocking/re-delivery charges will be incurred by the customer.       

IMPORTANT NOTE: It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that adequate labour or manned handling equipment is available to offload at the delivery point. Off loading is to a ground floor entrance point only, or in the case of a palletised delivery to kerbside only.  The company/driver will have the right to determine the relevant unloading point.  The customer shall be responsible for notifying the company of any restriction of access such as height, width, weight or unloading hours.

Waiting Time.

Waiting time will be charged for any delay, should unloading not commence within 30 minutes of the vehicle arriving at the site at the rate of £35.00 per half hour up to a maximum of 1 hour, after which it will be at 3d's discretion to pull off site.  Failed and repeat delivery conditions would then apply.

Failed & Repeat Deliveries:

Failed & repeat deliveries will be charged at cost dependant on location and required delivery date and time.  Storage costs may apply if delivery cannot be made promptly. Waiting time will be charged at £25 per half hour if offloading cannot commence within 30 minutes of vehicle arrival.  After 1 hour 3D Lockers reserve the right to pull off site and failed and repeat delivery costs would apply.

Cancellation and Returns Policy Business to Business customers

Here at 3D Lockers we really want you to be happy with your purchase.  However the distance selling regulations do not apply for Business to Business customers and we are therefore not obliged to offer a returns policy. We will only accept cancellation of an order on condition that you reimburse us in full all costs and expenses incurred by us and arising from the cancellation (whether directly or indirectly) and all loss of profits and other loss, damages, costs, charges and expenses resulting to or incurred as a result. Cancellation will only be accpeted at our descretion and if accepted the cancellation charge could be up to 100% of the order value.  As the vast majority of our products are made to order, your order cannot be cancelled once the goods have gone into the manufacturing process and the order will have to be paid for in full.  If you need to cancel your order, please contact us to find out at what stage your order is at.  

Once goods have been dispatched to you they cannot be returned or exchanged unless damaged, faulty and must be in an unused condition.

Cancellation and Returns policy for consumers

We are sorry but currently we do not deliver to domestic addresses.

If you wish to cancel your order, you can telephone us on 01924 240291 as soon as possible. You will then need to confirm your cancellation of order in writing. However, once your order has gone into manufacture we will not be able to cancel your order. Please Note: All changes in order to take effect must be confirmed by us in writing or via a new order acknowledgement or a cancellation email.

Signing for Goods:
 
All items must be inspected for damage before signing. PLEASE REJECT if there are any signs of visible damage. The words 'unexamined' or 'unchecked' will not be accepted as a conditional signature for goods received in good order and condition. Please contact us immediately if you spot any damage.

 

Delivery & Returns

Please check the delivery tab on the product page for approximate delivery lead times.  Lead times range from 3 working days to 35 working days  Please note delivery lead times can be extended for a larger quantity of items or during busy periods.

Urgent requirements can sometimes be accommodated, please contact us to see if we can improve on the delivery leadtime.  If there is production space available we may be able to bring your delivery lead time forward. Or we may be able to swap your chosen product over to a different one from an alternative factory.  It's always worth asking so call us on 01924 635155.

Once your order has been placed with us we will email you with an anticipated delivery by date or week commencing date.   

We deliver to most UK mainland business postcodes and all our deliveries are FREE for orders over £150.00 + VAT.  A carriage surcharge of £10.00 + VAT applies to orders under this value.  This is shown at your checkout basket. 

Delivery to Ireland can be arranged at additional cost.  Please contact us for costing or alternatively we can deliver Free (Subject to minimum order charge) to any UK Port or shipping agent of your choice.

Delivery to Europe can be arranged at additional cost, please contact us for costing or alternatively we can deliver Free (Subject to minimum order charge)  to any UK Port or shipping agent of your choice.

Please note deliveries can only be made to ground floor entrance only.  Final positioning on site by customer.

We make every effort to deliver your products on time and in good condition. Sometimes we use couriers to transport goods and due to the nature of the product, damages can sometimes occur.  If this is the case then contact us via email or telephone on 01924 635155 within 3 days of receipt of your delivery.  We will require a photo of the damaged product and once received will endeavour to replace or rectify as soon as is humanly possible.

Unfortunately our drivers are only insured to deliver to ground floor reception only.  Our driver is not expected to carry large items over distances and where access to an entrance is restricted. Offloading will be to tailgate only or kerbside.  The off-loading point will be determined by the driver.  

It would be down to the customer to arrange for the lockers or cupboards to be transported upstairs to their final destination. Also, the driver is not insured to deposit items into a lift. 

Some products can be delivered on pallets. It is the customers responsibility to dispose of the pallet.

Yes on certain products we are able to offer a next day service at additional cost.  Please contact our sales team for details on 01924 635155 for more information.

Standard Deliveries.

Deliveries are made Monday to Friday during normal working hours between 8am and 5pm.  Standard deliveries can by anytime during the week. We do not give a specific day or time slot. However if you have a specific requirement, please contact us on 01924 635155 and we will try our best to accomodate.

In order for your to make plans to accept delivery, once you have placed your order, you will receive an Order Acknowledgement followed by a Delivery confirmation email from 3d Storage Systems.  This will indicate the estimated delivery by date or a week commencing/ending date.

Standard delivery may not include pedestrian zones which operate time limits on deliveries.  Addtional costs may apply.

PLEASE ADVISE of any delivery restrictions at time of ordering or indicate any additional information which you think will help our delivery driver.

We endeavour to deliver all orders on time. However unforeseen manufacturing situations or delivery hold ups can occur with our suppliers resulting in longer leadtimes than anticipated. It is possible during peak times that the driver can run out of hours. This can result in your order being delayed.

Here at 3d Storage Systems we try our best to keep our customers informed of delays. There can be occasions when this information is late in being relayed to us.  If this occurs, 3d Storage Systems cannot be held liable for any losses or costs incurred by yourselves for such a delay.  Our suppliers will always try to deliver the goods or services by the agreed date, however such dates are given as estimates only and cannot therefore be viewed as a breach of contract.

On occasions the goods may be delivered in advance of the estimated delivery date.  Where we can, we will give notice of advance deliveries, but cannot always guarantee this at peak times. Once again we cannot be held liable for any losses or costs incurred by yourselves for premature delivery dates.

Yes, we ask for all items to be signed for on delivery.  Should you require a Proof of Delivery document, then please contact our sales team on 01924 635155 and we will be happy to organise for a POD to be emailed to you. 

24 Hour Pre-Call Request.

You can request the factory/driver to give you a 24 hour pre-call to give 24 hours notice of delivery. This pre-call service is aimed at helping our customers with their preparations to accept deliveries.  However, this is for guidance only and we cannot guarantee this service during peak times.  We cannot be held liable for any costs or delays in the non provision of this service.

Nominated Day Deliveries.

We understand that sometimes our standard delivery service doesn't fit the bill.  That's why we are able to offer a nominated day delivery service at additional cost.  We are also able to offer Nominated Day and Time Specific Deliveries on certain products.  These services are at additional cost.  Please contact our sales team on 01924 635155 who will be happy to help arrange this additional service and confirm the costs for your particular delivery.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept orders from consumers/deliveries to home addresses as we are unable to specify a day and time. Delivery can be any time during normal working hours between 9-5 Monday to Friday. If for any reason you know there will not be anybody available to accept delivery please contact us on 01924 635155 as soon as possible to make alternative arrangements. 

Waiting Time and Repeat Deliveries.

Except for consumer contracts, failed and repeat deliveries will be charged at cost by our suppliers dependant on location and required delivery date and time.  Storage costs may apply if delivery cannot be made promptly.

Save consumer contracts, waiting time will be charged for any delay should unloading not commence within 30 minutes of the vehicle arriving at the site at the rate of £35 per half hour up to a maximum of 1 hour, after which it will be at the driver's discretion to pull off site.  Failed and repeat delivery conditions would then apply and re delivery charges will apply.

For Business to Business Customers.

Manufactured Products:

We want you to be completely satisfied with your product/s. However for manufactured goods which have been dispatched to you cannot be returned or exchanged unless damaged or faulty. Upon receipt of the goods we will give you a full refund or credit provided the goods are received in an undamaged condition. The refund will be less the re-stocking fee and collection cost. We are very sorry to hear that your product has arrived damaged.  Please contact us immediately and send photographic evidence of the damage by email to sales@3dstoragesystems.co.uk.  We will be happy to organise a replacement product or provide a resolution as soon as possible.

No unfortunately at this time, we are only able to deliver to business customers with a proper business delivery address.

Quite a number of the products on our website are delivered by pallet service. This means the driver will offload your product/s and deliver to the nearest kerb side or ground floor location decided by the driver. It is your responsibility to unwrap the product and dispose of the pallet. 

Not all products are delivered by pallet service, some are handballed off the back of a vehicle but still to a ground floor point. It is worth asking us to see which delivery service will be used for the product you are interested in. If a pallet service is not suitable, then we can advise of alterntiave products where a pallet delivery service is not used.
