Cycle Loops and Racks.

Cycle loops often known as "Sheffield Bike Loops" are a great way to store bicycles while consicous of space and cost.  They come in two sizes to accomodate either adult of junior bikes and are available in either galvanised or a powder coating paint finish. . Installation is easy and you can mount the loops onto the concrete using fixing bolts. Bike loops keep the bikes from falling over and you can purchase as individual units to fit the space you have. If you need more storage, you can upgrade to a pillar bike rack that has an upper level to store up to 12 bikes.  These cycle racks grip the wheels  and keep bikes upright.  The racks ensure that you have proper security since they allow bicycle owners to secure the bike wheel and frame with their lock. The other alternative is a claw bike rack which sits on a framework on the ground.  These can be single entry for installation near a wall or double entry stand alone units.

Wall Bike Racks

A wall rack is also another bike storage idea that will help to get bicycles off the floor and is a great space saving solution as they are very comact. The bicyle wall racks are availabel in two designs, 90 degree and 60 degree angles for proper bike support.

Bicycle Shelters and Canopies

If you are planning an outdoor bike storage facility, then you may want to opt for bike shelters.  Bikes can be expensive investments, thus it is essential to have a shelter that will ensure they are parked in safe and secrue areas.  Weather conditions may also be a factor to consider when buying a bike shelter as they can prevent the rusing, wearing out and staining of parts. If you want your shelter to stand out, you can choose a curved design such as the Kenilworth or Dudley Cycle shelter.  The clear perspex backs and sides provide shelter from the elements and bike racks or loops can be incorporated under the roof.  You may also want to consider a wall mounted shelter with twin level bike racks included that provide space for up to 8 bikes.  If you have a larger space and want to provide as much security for bicycles as possible, then a bike canopy will be the answer.  These canopies have gates and come with an optional roof to give the ultimate 360 degree protection from vandalism and theft.
